Moving in
Most of us consider moving in as a highly difficult and time consuming process. Things can get easier when you have an expert next to you.
While Moving in:
To begin with, a specialised counsellor visits you in order to let you know about the steps of moving in and answers to every single question you may have, free of charge and without being engaged. It is really useful and helpful.
Then, when you have already arranged the date of moving, a specialised team gets to the right place with all the necessary packaging materials in order to carry out packaging efficiently and without wasting time. We also offer furniture dispersing and assembling ,when needed, in the new destination.
Finally, after the moving step, the furniture is unwrapped and put on the right place ( according to what the client indicates. )
Furniture and miscellaneous packaging
Before moving, our expert team carries out packaging process. Taking into consideration the safety of your objects, we use modern and high quality materials designated with the logo of Antonatos Company.
We provide you with the appropriate materials based on your needs. We also have in our disposal, special closets of paper to transfer your clothes.
We can also pack miscellaneous ( pieces of glass, kitchen utensils , decorative and personal objects). All miscellaneous objects are packed one by one and then they are placed in carton boxes.
Our professional crew undertakes dispersing and assembling your furniture when needed so as to be transferred with safety.
If there is a high amount of books and stationery, we also offer special machines with a view to reducing the number of boxes and facilitating their transport.
Antonatos Transportation Company also uses pallets to transfer your objects.
Forklift
Our company uses modern forklifts that can reach the sixth floor of a building ( and the 7th one after certain circumstances ) for a quick and safe transfer. This kind of machine is used even for a simple transport , just to deliver an electric appliance.

We have created customized storage areas to keep safe home appliances and more. We offer solutions to every need. The objects are transferred carefully to our storage area, after having been appropriately packed and listed.

1. Where could I stay during the process of moving in?
Some of our clients book a room at a hotel or they are put up by a friend. Most of them , though, prefer to stay at home till the big day of moving. Antonatos Transportation Company seeks to transfer your belongings with safety and care. That’s why some furniture, such as your bed and personal stuff is packed the last day to be transferred to the new destination.
2. What should I do with the things that I need unpacked and not included in the cargo?
You can keep them in another room if it is possible. Otherwise , you put post it to indicate the objects that are not to be packed in order to facilitate the job of our team. This method is necessary and makes packaging easier without delays. Our manager will be happy to help you.
3. I am about to move in without having found a new house . Can you store my belongings?
Of course . Our company will keep your things safe and secure as long as you want.
4. Do you take over moving in around Greece?
Of course. We can transfer your objects at any place you desire.
5. Can you transport voluminous and fragile objects?
We have the capacity to transfer demanding objects as we possess all necessary machines . Work of art , american fridge, e.tc will be safely transferred to your place.
6. Till which floor transfer and moving in can be realised?
Our forklifts can reach the 6th - (7th floor under certain conditions) and realise moving in efficiently and safely.
7. I want to get rid of an old fridge. What can I do?
Our company is engaged to get every old and unwanted appliance in order to recycle it.
8. What should I do with all the empty boxes and the packaging materials after moving in?
It is a fact that after the delivery of your objects there will be a lot of empty boxes and materials. We will get all the empty packaging materials from your new home the same day. However, if you wish to unpack some or all the boxes on your own you can contact us to schedule picking them up and recycle them.
9. I am moving in soon but due to lack of time and work, there is no time to pack, what can I do?
Apart from packaging your furniture , our company also takes over to pack all your miscellaneous ( kitchen utensils, clothes, personal stuff) to eliminate anxiety.
10. I live out of town and intend to move in the centre of Athens , do you handle the process?
Of course, we undertake transport and moving in from and to Athens , always with safety and responsibility.
